Is unusual looking stool normal for a 5 month old baby?
Brief Answer:
The stool seems fine.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have seen the image. It seems fine to me. If the baby is exclusively breast fed, there is nothing to worry. You may increase the amount of breast feed to be on the safer side. If the child is formula fed, ORS or Pedialyte can be added.
It is only if the child becomes lethargic that you need to take him/her to the doctor.
Hope that helps.
