Question: Is it okay to use an unopened package of Ventolin HFA that has an expired date that has already passed - about a year.

I read your concern and I understand.

I would advice not to use the drug that has expired 1 year ago ,cause low safety and efficiency.
Drug company don't guarantee 100% safety and full potency after the expiring date so don't use it.
