Is Vaccination Given Only In Left Arm?
Question: Whenever I get vaccinated it is always in the left arm. Does it matter if it is the left arm or right arm?
Brief Answer:
does not matter which arm
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic
The arm does not matter.
Vaccination can be associated with pain in the arm receiving the vaccine. This discomfort may slightly hinder function.
Medical personnel assume most persons are right handed. By using the NON dominant hand for injection, the person will still be able to use their dominant hand for normal activities.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
