Thanks for posting your query.
The inability of your mother to walk seems to be related to her weakness and a decreased will power and is not likely to be related to any bones or joints related problem.
In addition to the proper and regular treatment which she is already getting, she needs to have a regular physiotherapy. You can arrange for physiotherapy sessions at home for her and gradually she is likely to regain her strength.
With the help of regular exercise schedule she is likely to recover in 4-6 weeks.
In addition to this, a healthy diet is also necessary along with plenty of fluids to maintain her strength.
I hope this answers your query.

Thanks for writing again.
After remaining bed ridden for two months at her age, osteoporosis, decreased blood calcium and vitamin D 3 levels and muscle atrophy can lead to the problem in weight bearing or standing on her feet. It will take her time to show a response.
All the physiotherapists do not offer the services at home. You will have to search for a better one near your home after discussing with her orthopedician.
You can start giving her calcium and vitamin D 3 supplements for an early recovery.
Hope my answer is helpful.
