Hello,

Lower limb fracture takes around 4-8 weeks or more irrespective for any type of fracture. Since you underwent surgery it is possible to have joint stiffness and also the callus formation needs its time for the screws to get properly fitting.

Also, there will be muscle weakness that will change the biomechanics of the ankle movements. You need to go slow and also give some time to your healing. Remember, slow and steady wins the race. It's true that today we have advanced therapy but the physiology of every single individual is variable and the recovery depends upon the same.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
