Lower Abdominal Pain And Burning Sensation In Groin Area. What Is The Disease Called?

You mention that the symptom becomes more pronounced
after working out. The location of the pain near the groin
area and burning sensation indicates that you probably
have a hernia (Inguinal or Femoral). This is a small defect
in the lining of the abdominal wall through which a portion
of your intestine protrudes and causes pinching and pain
along with burning sensation if the nerve endings are
involved. I want you to place your hand in that area
and give a good cough and see if you see or feel a bulge.
It is called an "Impulse " and if present ,that confirms it.
Hernia can be complete or incomplete. Complete hernia
is very prominent and if you are not able to push the
intestine back , then it might indicate obstruction or
strangulation. This is bad and requires immediate
medical attention to prevent gangrene of the bowel.
I don't think your acid reflux has anything to do with
your symptoms. In the mean time try to avoid heavy
lifting etc. till you see the doctor who can examine
you and correctly diagnose the problem.
I wish you the very best.
