Hello,
Thanks for the query,
Before I reply to your query, I need more information like:
1. Are your previous menstrual cycles regular?
2. If so, what is the duration of flow?
3. Are you using any contraceptive measures?
4. Was brownish discharge associated with pain?
I can answer your question in a specific way with treatment modalities, if you could provide me the above details.
Waiting for your reply.

Dr Nilofer

I still havent got my diagnosis
Hello,
Please provide me the details for the queries I have mentioned above.
Anyways, Delay in your periods with spotting could be pregnancy itself.
I recommend you to get a urine pregnancy test done. Once pregnancy is ruled out, other causes of delayed causes could be stress, hormonal imbalance, ovarian cyst, excess weight gain or loss.
If pregnancy is ruled out , I recommend you to start progesterone supplementation to induce menstruation after contacting your gynecologist.
Hope this helps. You could write to me anytime for further clarifications.
