NEXFOLIN Tablet Is Used For What Purpose ? Can You
Can you please tell me as soon as possible ?
it's a multivitamin supplement..
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern for your father..
NEXFOLIN is primarily mecobalamin ( a neurologically active form of Vitamin B12 ), along with combination of other vitamin B-complex, Acetyl cysteine and Vitamin C..
It's generally advised in several features of Vitamin B12 deficiencies (i.e. Peripheral neuropathies, megaloblastic anemia mainly)..
It can be taken with or without food, please follow the the exact dosage as his doctor must've mentioned in the prescription..
The aneurysm has no correlation with this, so his doctor must've prescribed it for some other clinical features (as already mentioned).. there's definitely would've been some relevant clinical features, that's why he's been prescribed to have this, so don't worry..
Let me know if you've any further queries, if you want, you can simply upload the prescriptions here at the reports section so that I can take a detailed look at it to guide you further..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome back,
Your queries have been answered already, haven't you read it yet ?
Yes, it may be a part of it, but there are multiple other reasons behind such shivering, starting from hypothermia (sub-optimum range core body temperature), early onset fever, infection and several others, this being winter season, even sudden exposure to cold atmospheric temperature can also cause this..
Try to remember at which occasion he has this symptoms of shivering, then it'll provide some insight to it..As I've already mentioned earlier, you can simply upload the prescription of his doctor here, which'll let me know the present situation which should've been documented there..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome back,
Well, you haven't mentioned that he's already on anti-epileptics i.e. Encorate (Divalproex), which can be associated with the shivering.. from these descriptions, the shivering is most likely to be myoclonus (sudden muscle contractions) or tremors or even seizure activity.. also, he's also on vasopressin receptor 2 antagonist (Tolvaptan as Tolsama) used to treat certain types of hyponatremia (low sodium below threshold level)..
He's also receiving Nootropil ( a group of medications to increase neuronal excitability and cognitive function).. So the shivering can be due to either one of this or a cumulative factor of them all.. not to worry, just continue the treatment, I do believe he's in the right hands, so please go ahead with the medications as advised by the Neuro-surgeon, it's a time consuming process, so don't worry..
My best wishes..
