Hi and welcome to XXXXXXX
Detailed Answer:
This is typical location of
swollen lymph nodes due to respiratory infection or any other kind of infection. Sometime it is some other benign subcutaneous lesion such as cyst, fibroma, ateroma or lipoma. Less common it can be dislocated part of
thyroid gland and this would explain your
tiredness. Rarely, this can indicate some more serious malignant diseases ,but this is the last thing to think of.
So, in every case, you dont have to be concerned. You can wait for 1-2weeks and see what happens. If pain and lump subside then this was obviously swollen lymph node.If this persist you should do
ultrasound and needle biopsy. After this, you ll know exact diagnosis. If there is rapid grow of this lump and persistant tiredness with night sweating, you should
consult hematologist to rule out some serious blood diseases.
