Question: I'm 44 years old and I noticed a painful lump in my right arm pit and I also have a lump in my left arm pit as well

The lump could be an enlarged lymph node. Since it is painful, infection is a possibility.
A complete blood count may be done to see if it is due to infection.
A course of antibiotics may be taken to see if it shrinks.
