I have noticed a small red bump on my inner thigh,

Hello and thanks for query.

I have seen your photograph.

By the look it appears to be a simple boil which is An infection of base of hair follicle.

Other possibility could be an allergic reaction/hives.

Put some antibiotic cream over it and do the dressing.

It should be alright in couple of days.

However if it increases in size and becomes painful, you might have to visit your doctor for the antibiotic prescription and a possible drainage, if required.

I hope to have answered your query and any follow up query is welcome.

Thanks and good luck.
