thanks for the query.
Your symptoms suggest that, you might be suffering from vasculitis.
As you have a history of platelet proliferation, it is possible that the platelets have plugged the small vessels, leading to inflammation and hence swelling, pain and itch.
If possible kindly upload a picture of the lesion, this will help me in giving a closer diagnosis.
For instant relief you can apply hydrocortisone gel .
