Question: i have been dealing with a shoulder problem, numbness in left arm, numbness in left side of face periodically.

shoulder cracks when i turn it around.

i am 23 and otherwise in good health

Hi,

Thanks for the query.

Your symptoms can be part of a variety of conditions.Most commonly facial palsy,frozen shoulder,multiple sclerosis and even a nerve injury/entrapment etc can be causes of similar symptoms like numbness in the arm and face.You should get an xray shoulder first to rule out possible bony involvement.After that xray cervical spine can also be done.Nerve conduction studies are the further tests if all other causes are ruled out.You should see your physician/neurologist for a CNS examination first.
