Hello,
You are suffering from numbness,
tingling sensation and severe pain in the left side due to
slipped disc (C5, C6). When the slipped disc presses on the nerves in the neck you experience headache, pain , pins and needles that may also radiate from the neck to the face, shoulder, arm, etc. It is treated with anti inflammatory medicines, muscle or posture therapy to reduce
nerve irritation and maintain mobility.
Get clinically examined by an orthopedist to detect the degree of premature degeneration, herniated discs and
spinal nerve impingement. Bulging and herniated discs compress the spinal cord and spinal nerves. Severe compression of the cord can also lead to paralysis or worse. So, don't neglect your neck pain as it needs immediate attention. It is commonly treated with high-intensity
laser therapy, shock wave therapy, chiropractic and
physiotherapy.
You are suggested to spend lesser time on computers, pads, and mobile devices. Any activity that requires your neck to be in a forward-leaning or bent position causes the neck's soft tissue (muscles and ligaments), joints, and spinal discs to wear out prematurely. The danger and premature degenerative changes of joints cause spondylosis,
spondylolisthesis, etc. Surgery is only recommended when there is no response to treatment given.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
