Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.

The chest pain in pregnancy associated with numbness in the arm could be related to a muscular pain. The numbness of the arm is commonly seen due to decreased levels of vitamin B complex.
The other causes of having a chest pain can be gastritis, lung infections- bacterial or viral or cardiac causes.

She can start taking a mild pain killer like acetaminophen and continue with Zantac. In case the pain persists, then a direct physical evaluation and investigations are required.

She can also get Vitamin B complex supplements prescribed from her gynecologist.

Hope this answers your query. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.

Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.

Wishing you good health.
Regards,

Dr. Rakhi Tayal.
