Warmth and swelling over the leg is common after heart surgery and will take over 1 month from the day of surgery to settle. This usually takes place as a part from the vein in the leg is taken to replace the narrowed artery in the heart. There is nothing that needs to be done to hasten the process.
As far as the rash is concerned, you will need to consult a dermatologist to rule out adverse drug reaction.
