Hi
Thanks for your query.
Yes the rashes he has could be related to the Mononucleosis.
I require some more details to understand the condition and help you better,
Is there any fever?
Is there any swelling around the eye or are the eyes looking yellow or red?
Is the baby breathing normally?
Is the baby showing normal activity?
Is the baby feeding normally?
Waiting for your reply.

doesn't seem to be feverish. his eyes seem to be slightly red, but he looks tired. he's still very active and very happy. he is breast feeding still and we feed him organic bananas and organic rice cereal mixed with mother's milk.
Hi
Thanks for your reply.
Rash in infants can occur in a wide variety of conditions.
These include skin allergy, viral infections, insect bites etc etc. (among a whole lot of causes)
Can you describe the rash in detail........
Where did it start initially?
How is it progressing?
Is it raised above the skin?
What is the shape and size?
What is the color of the rash?
Is there significant itching?
One important thing.
When i come across a baby who is playing actively and the mother says his feeding is o.k. i am a bit comfortable about the child's well being.
You may contact me with further details on the following URL...........

In such scenario the questions are directly forwarded to me .............. and i can answer your queries regarding your kid online regularly.
Hope this helps.
Take care
