Suggest SN15 Dosage For Pain In Diabetic Foot
Question: My mother-in-law, aged 65, has gone through a minor amputation of her toe for diabetic foot. doctor has prescribed her SN15 on SOS basis. Can she have 3 tablets a day?
Brief Answer:
No it should not be taken more then two
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read your case and I agree that some time pain in Diabetic foot can be severe and may need more pain killers.
SN 15 is Nimesulide , it can not be taken more then twice in 24 hours. Also it should not be taken for longer time.
So my suggestion to you is that rather then taking Nimesulide more I would recommend you to add tramadol. So she can take two tramadol and two SN 15 per day.
Taking Sn 15 more can put bad effect on kidney and also causes edema and hypertension so take it when pain is really bad.
Thanks.
