Question: My son 4 years old and he taken dpt vaccine at evening 6 now he is sleeping but he will not push his leg because his taken at thigh what precautions I have to take

With out pain dpt vaccine is available in market plz tell me

For pain relief give Paracetamol. Paracetamol can be given in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose (maximum ceiling dose of 500mg) every 4-6th hourly that too only if fever is more than 100F. I suggest not using combination medicines for fever, especially with Paracetamol.

Precautions -
1. Cold fomentation.
2. Paracetamol for pain relief.

How many days this pain will continue and there is no fever only pain

Hi...I understand your concern. The DPT induced pain will be there for 3-4 days and rarely for another 1 day.

Even for pain you can use the same dose of paracetamol as I have suggested.
