Question: My daughter wakes up every morning with puffy eyes from a cat that sleeps with them and her boyfriend has had the cat for 15 yrs and she hates to ask him to put it out. Is there something she can take. She has tried benedryl and zyertec

Well she can take other anti allergic medication like Atarax, Desloratidine etc but she has to take medication as long as she gets exposed to cats.

The best thing is always to avoid Cats, if this is absolutely unavoidable then she is get a desensitization procedure where her allergy to Cat ( cat's Hair ) will be reduced gradually and later totally abolished.
