Suggest Ayurvedic For Diabetes

Question: Hello My father is diabetic and has blood pressure. Is on insulin and recently had to have a bypass on four arteries. Two years ago there was nothing there, and have been told is was due to the diabetic medication that his arteries calaspt. I would firstly like to know is there a ayurvedic remedy that is suitable for him?. Currently he is also feeling week so anything good for that. Far as I know his body constitution is pitta. Also after the bypass this left hand he got problem with the ulna nurve is that his fingers are numb which has gone into his arm. Is there a solution for this as the doctor who saw him has now said after I pointed it out that its damaged and needs a hospital appointment to check it out.

As an ayurveda way there are good remedies which has not any side effets, however it will also cure the problem of weakness. Thus the problem of numbness in arm will also stop incresing first and then also will cure. Please start the following medicines to him of ayurveda classical medicienes. 1. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXX ras 1 tab twice a day 2. Tab diabecon (himalaya drug) 2 tabs twice a day. 3. Arjunarishtam 10 ml twice a day after meal. Meanwhile should have to continue insulin right now then after has to reduce dosage step by step as per sugar level. Hello Okay thank you, can marma points, also help. I myself done massage (Swedish & aromatherapy) and some Ayurveda stuff. The Abhyang is this for the full body or just arm? and the Bastikarma is that using of hot/warm oil (seseme) for pouring in the dow made ring

Brief Answer: Abhyang and Bastikarma detailing. Detailed Answer: hello in your father's problem 1. He has to concentrate on localize Abhyang and Swedan with traditional Ayurveda Treatment 2. Bastikarma is not only with Warm oil. there are two types of Basti karma. One is with Oil and second one is with decoction of various herbs and has to give alternate, constant or either one or both alternately. Hello Okay thank you, problem is that there is no Ayurveda practice near me, nearest one is more than 50 miles away which is hard to get to as with the condition of my father and limit to transport. I forgot to mention in last email, my fathers blood pressure seems to be okay as per your medication recommended are they for blood pressure aswell or just the diabetes and weakness that you say.

Medicine advised for your father will not work directly for the Hypertension, but it will control regularize the hypertension. So do not worry about the blood pressure level from the medicines.

Brief Answer: Food and Diet restriction for Diabetes Detailed Answer: Hello As per your father's condition there are multiple thing in him So its advisable to use all types of fresh and light diet; regular diet will help to improve health. - Avoid sweets, sugar and Jaggery. - Avoid yoghurt - Avoid refined flour products such as white bread /biscuits (whole grain products are acceptable) - Avoid Pickles and Spicy food - Avoid Oil, Ghee, Cheese, Paneer (cottage cheese) etc Amla (Indian Goose berries) and turmeric will also beneficial for him. You can give him such soups of bitter guard, amla, various vegetables in morning. I have tried to instruct you with the best of my knowledge; however due to the distance between us I have least knowledge of the local food products available in your country. You should talk to a nutritionist for more details about his food and diet Pranayam will also beneficial to him. Regards

Hello I forgot to mention but my father for diabetes is also taking Metformin 850mg which he takes three times a day. Currently other medication he is on are Ascorbic acid 200mg tabs 3 times a day Ferrous sulphate 200mg 3 times a day bisoprolol 1 2.5mg a day terbinafine 250mg 1 a day atorvastatin 80mg 1 a day Sorry I should have mentioned this before but does any of this make a difference.
