Hello
Thanks for the query.
Both diabetes and gout are chronic metabolic diseases. In diabetes, the body has a problem managing blood glucose because insulin is too low or cells respond abnormally to insulin. While In gout, the body has a problem metabolizing purines, natural compounds found in many foods. Breakdown of purines produces uric acid, which may crystallize in joints of gout patients and cause severe pain. Both gout patients and diabetics should avoid certain foods, including some fruits that are either XXXXXXX in purines or that have lots of simple sugar.
Bananas, grapes, raisins, apricots, figs and sugar sweetened drinks, beer are strictly no no as all these increase not only uric acid but sugar levels also.

For uric acid and gout  purine XXXXXXX foods to be avoided are organ meat, dried beans, peas, liver, kidney, beer,  alcoholic beverages,  herring, mackerel,   brain, kidney, mushroom, asparagus, cauliflower, spinach, gravies, meat extracts and yeast. Foods that benefit individuals with high uric acid levels are tofu, olive oil, nuts, salmon and dark berries. The American Medical Association recommends a low protein and high complex carb diet.

For diabetes it is advisable to avoid Fruits such as mangoes, jackfruit, banana, grapes and chickoo. Oranges, papaya, XXXXXXX and guava are preferred as they provide dietary fiber, which aids in the control of blood glucose levels. Avoid all refined and fatty foods; instead go in for wholesome and fresh foods. Tinned and preserved foods contain a high concentration of sodium or sugar.

Other measures to be adopted are
Quit smoking.
Do regular exercises.
Reduce your weight.
Reduce calorie intake.

I hope to have answered your query however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
