Suggest Diuretics For Fluid Retention In The Body
Thank you.
A diuretic should be started
Detailed Answer:
Greetings and welcome to HCM. I carefully read your query.
Well, a diuretic is recommended to be installed in your therapy to remove the excess fluid from the organism. The most effective one is furosemide (Lasix) which, after consulted with your doctor, is recommended to be started as soon as possible. Aside from this issue, there is the issue that the origin or the culprit that makes your free spaces in organism to accumulate fluid. Therefore, in this case, if all the linings are accumulating fluid, we may be having to deal with a poliserositis, which, also, has to have a known cause. As this is a problem addreses by rheumatology, then I would suggest a consult with a rheumatologist, for a visit and, also, some tests may be required, to determine whether this is an autoimmune process. If it is, then proper rheumatologic treatment will be recommended and started as soon as possible, so the "original" problem is treated.
I hope my answer is helpful. I am happy to help, if you have follow-up questions.
Best regards,
Dr. Meriton
