Suggest Dosage For Duphaston Post A Miscarriage

Question: Hi

I am 14 week pregnant and after my first trimester scanning my gyne has asked me to take duphaston 10 mg twice a day, as I have contacted one more gyne she has advices not
To take duphaston.

I had one miscarriage during my last pregnancy in the 7th week and this time had spotting in the 7th week.

I just want to know as I have also been given
Folic acid,prolutan depot 500 mg once every week along with duphaston.

Should I continue with duphaston.

Yes dear duphaston is a wonderful progesterone and supports pregnancy the best.
Proluton if given in addition has an even better effect and helps to prevent bleeding further.
I usually give duphaston till 16 weeks of pregnancy and then stop it but would like to continue Proluton till 34 weeks of pregnancy.
Keep taking it as advised and wish you a healthy pregnancy.
