Suggest Dosage For Prozac

thanks for asking

My daughter has been on Prozac 20 mg once a day and reduce venla very much
She is away to USA and hence I don't know how exactly is she doing

I wonder if we want to increase the dose of Prozac, so we take all 40 mg at once or in divided doses?

It can be taken in single dose

Thanks for reverting back to me.

Prozac can be used in single dose without any problem. As you know it has long half life of 3 days and once daily dossing is well recommended upto 60 mg.

In case total dose is above 60 mg per day in that situation we can split the dose but for 40 mg there is no need to split the dose.
