Question: I TAKE TWO 75MG VELAFLAXINE PERDAY (MORNING AND NIGHT HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL WITH THIS DOSAGE?

Thanks for writing to us.

Venlafaxine is an antidepressant medicine. In moderate depression dose is 225 mg per day in divided dose. In severe depression, it can be increased up to 375 mg per day in divided dosage.

With 150 mg dose, you may feel some improvement but not satisfactory which you want. There is need of increase in dose, if you are tolerating the medicine.
You can discuss the same with your doctor and increase the dose. It is really good that you are in good physical health without blood pressure at this age.

You can revert back to citalopram, if you do not feel improvement even after increasing the dose of venlafaxine. Continue zoplidem same as you are taking for sleep.
