Brief Answer:
You can give levolin with telekast l

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

Most of the cough cold in this age occur due to some viral infection or allergy.

Telekast l contains motelukast(a slow acting antiallergic)and levocetrizine(antiallergic for immediate relief). The usual duration of recommendation of telekast l is 7-10 days.So you can give it for another 5-7 days as cough is still there.

Levolin contains levosalbutamol a bronchodilator that relieves airway spasm. It has been seen that some airway spasm is associated with cough in this age group and hence levolin will also help.
You can give levolin as suggested by your physician along with telekast l for more relief.

Due to repeated cough and nasal blockage poor appetite is a common problem in this condition.
Continue giving nasivion pediatric drop. Please don't use it for longer duration and once the nasal blockage improves better to shift to nasal saline drop.

Encourage him for frequent small feeds. You can give him anything what he likes except cold items. It is always better to avoid cow milk below 1 year of age because of chances of cow milk protein allergy. But if he is not accepting formula milk at all you can give cow milk. Please do not dilute the cow milk as it decreases the nutritive value.

I hope this helps.
Wishing for your baby's speedy recovery.

Brief Answer:
I would like to give both for next 5 days

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for follow up

In the present scenario I would like to give both telekast l and levolin for next 4-5 days for more relief.
If nasal blockage has decreased you can stop nasivion and switch to nasal saline drops.

Please do ask if you have any more doubts.

Brief Answer:
2.5 ml of salbutamol (levolin) is OK

Detailed Answer:
The dose of salbutamol is 0.1-0.2 mg/kg/dose.
The average weight of 7 month old child is about 6-7 kg.
The 2.5 ml of levolin contains 1 mg of levosalbutamol which is adequate for 6-7 kg.
So 2.5 ml of levolin along with 2.5 ml of telekast l is sufficient for your baby.
