Question: Im 19 weeks pregnant and I have fibroids what can I eat cause I read there are things I can't eat cause it will make them grow plus it causes pain too
Brief Answer:
There are no foods tha can increase fibroids
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query to health care magic.
I have read your question nad understand your concern.
There are no foods that can cause direct growth of fibroids, because fibroids are increased due to female hormones, especially estrogens.
Foods that can turn to this hormone are those that contain isoflavones such as soy, peanuts ect
Since you are pregnant levels of estrogens are a little bit low ,usually fibroids doesn't increase it's size during pregnancy.
Hope I have answered your question and please feel free for further discussion.
Best regards

but my doctor said they grow when you are pregnant because of the estrogen levels are higher when pregnant
Brief Answer:
Explanation is given below....
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks again!
Yes ,during pregnancy ,especially during first trimester levels estrogens are increased (it was a lapse from me that I wrote that estrogens are low during pregnancy)
Hence Fibroids sometimes grow larger during pregnancy, due in part to pregnancy hormones.
For reasons that are not well understood, a fibroid may also get smaller during pregnancy.
Your doctor may recommend ultrasound examinations to see whether your fibroid is growing or likely to cause complications.
Hope I have answered your question and please feel free for further discussion.
