Can Soy Protein Shake Have Effect On Birth Control Pills?

I have been taking the birth control pill called Loestrin 24 since I ve had my son almost two years ago. This past week I have started a new diet called Body By Vi which is a soy protein shake that you drink twice a day to replace two meals a day. According to their website the isoflavones have been removed from the soy and I heard this is what has an affect on birth control. So I was wondering if it would still be ok for me to continue on the shakes without having to worry about it having an impact on my birth control?

Hello,

If isoflavones removed no problem you may take the shake. But if you take with isoflavones may lead to estrogen mimic effects.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
