Question : Seems my diverticulitis has flared up again. I use flagyl and cipro to combat it. This time, the cipro I have is 750 mg, and I think that is too strong. What dosage should I take, and for how long? The flagyl is same as I've always used.

You should take Ciprofloxacine 500 mgs twice a day for 7-10 days. Please also avoid solid foods for a day or two. Start probiotic intake. If the inflammation wont go away in few days, please consult your doctor and have abdominal ultrasound done.
