
Suggest Immunization And Vaccinations For An Infant

Question: Hi,
I have two queries below.
1 .My baby born on 4th Nov 2016 and her first vaccination done on 6th nov 2016.
As per card it should be after 6 weeks .
what should be next vaccination date .can i go to hospital on 18 dec 2016 as 6 weeks completing on that day and Sunday is suitable for us .
2 . My baby is having watery eyes since birth and some time semi liquid substance from one eyes.is this serious .what should i do ?

Hi...Coming to your queries directly.
1. First vaccination should be on 45th day only. It should not be given earlier. You should vaccinate the baby on 21st of December. But 3 days prior doesn't matter. But make sure that the hospital where you are going is working in Sunday and they are putting vaccinations on a Sunday.
2. This could be a simple block of nasolacrimal duct. I suggest you get back to your pediatrician so that he will teach you a small exercise so that it will open up automatically.
