Suggest Measures To Be Taken For Normal Delivery Of A Baby
Question: Hi, I am five months pregnant (20 weeks). I would like to have a normal delivery. Could you please let me know the do's and dont's to have a normal delivery.
Brief Answer:
Depends upon various causes
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
The mode of delivery is dependent on many factors like the size of baby, pelvis size, medical disorders in pregnancy, placental location, and heart rate of the fetus during delivery.
However, you can do prenatal exercises regularly to increase the chances of normal delivery.
Try to gain only 8-11 kg of weight in pregnancy.
These will increase the chances of chances of normal delivery.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thankyou for the reply.
When it comes to the weight gain, i started my pregnancy with 43 kgs and i am 51 at present. I have already gained 8 kgs and i understand that i will be gaining more weight till delivery which will be more than 11 kgs (more than what you specified).
I want to understand if it impacts any way.
Regards,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
Complications can occur
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
excessive weight gain can lead to difficulty in vaginal delivery due to increased weight of the fetus.
Moreover, complications like gestational diabetes can also occur in excessive weight gain.
However, if your pre pregnancy weight was 43 kgs, then your permissible and safe weight gain in pregnancy is upto 16 kgs.
