What Causes Blood In Stool After Delivery?
Hello doctor, I delivered my baby 40 days back. This was a normal vaginal delivery. In the last week or so, I have seen blood in my stool... is this something i shud be worried about? Or do i need to consult a doctor as i havent spoken to anyone as yet? Please advise

I understand your concern.
It looks like hemorrhoids.
Some advice that I can give to you are:
-Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone
-use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent.
-Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath. Soak your anal area in plain warm water 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a day.
