Brief Answer:
use of antifibrinolytics.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
THANKS for the query to HCM,
Breakthrough bleeding can be controlled by antifibrinolytics easily which can be prescribed by your gynaecologists. However, no ITC meds are otherwise known to stop it apart from oral contraceptive pills where 3 pills can be taken stat if excessive bleeding present.
Also natural remedies have not been effective. So it is suggested that you should consult your gynaecologist and seek anti-fibrinolytic treatment ( TAB TRANEXAMIC ACID 500mg thrice a day for 3 days).

Detailed Answer:
in that case you have to be managed in a gynaecologist clinic for if antifibrinolytics fail then you may require a dilatation and curettage for control of bleeding.
