Question: Hi I would like to prepond my periods, I am expecting my periods on 26th of september, I would like to prepond it by a week. Is there any medicine which can help do this? I have a very regular periods and the cycle is 28-30 days per month. Please prescribe tablet which is available in XXXXXXX

I would start tablet norethisterone 5 mg telwice a day from 12th September to 16th September and on stopping that you will get your periods in 2-5 days. But it is a prescription drug and thus you might need to fetch prescription from your gynecologist to avail the drug.

Thank you for help, incase I decide to postpone the periods, which tablet should i take & when should I start taking it?
What are the healthy days to postpone it for? I would like to postpone it for a week. Expecting my perioids on 26th Oct. How does it effect of cycle?

Hi dear, sorry for the delay in response as I was struck in an emergency surgery.
Same tablet with same dose should be started from 23rd September till you want to delay the periods and on leaving the drug you will get periods in 2-5 days as told before.
It has minimal long term side effects.
During the period of intake it can cause nausea, breast tenderness and abdominal bloating and at times deranged period pattern in the following cycle which gets corrected by itself.
In my opinion postpone it instead of trying to propone.
