Suggest Precautionary Measures After Removing A Stitch Granuloma
Question: Hi,
I had a skin bump near my ear. The doctor used a technique that cut out the entire small lump until there were clear edges. (He also used the burning technique. He found a suture from a surgery one year ago. The biopsy said "inconclusive" and he wants to check it again in 3 weeks. it is healing well right now.

Brief Answer:
Stitch Granuloma
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Your history suggests that you had a 'stitch granuloma' that your Doctor removed with a clear margin.
It is good that the biopsy is inconclusive, meaning nothing specific was found, that the healing is good and you are applying only the Neosporin on the spot.
Continue as before, this was just a stitch granuloma and nothing serious.
Please feel free to ask for anything related to this.
