Question: I have a red patch on my for skin and it goes away and comes back periodically. Its not painful, itchy, burning, or even bumpy just a red patch of skin and faintly? Any ideas?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Red patches on foreskin with no other symptom of itch, discomfort , on and off and recurring periodically is likely a result of friction caused by either masturbation or poor hygiene. Some times early fungal infections can cause such redness. I would suggest maintaining good hygiene, avoiding masturbation, wear loose undergarments preferably cotton. I would suggest a therapeutic circumcision as that prevents and reduces odds of such cases significantly. Talk to your doctor and let them have a look. You may apply lubricant oil or hydrocortisone gel over it for the relief.
