Suggest Remedies For Angry Outbursts
Question: I was on Zispin 15mg,one at night for many years. it really helped my depression and I felt good on it. I suffered no side-effects apart from having angry outbursts. I had to cease it because I didn't want to be unable to guage when I was going to have an outbrust. I have tried several antidepressants since and I have suffered numerous side-effects with them all and I am still trying desperately to stabilize my mood with an antidepressant without serious side-effects. Would it be possible for you to suggest another tablet I could take to reduce or eradicate the angry outbursts as I would like to resume taking Zispin again?

However, my recommendation is to try a low dose atypical neuroleptic such as quetiapine 25-100mg nightly. Quetiapine serve as a sleep medication, a mood stabilizer, AND an antidepressant, which gives you a lot of advantages! Other options include risperidone and olanzapine, but quetiapine would be my go-to first choice of medication in your current situation.
