Suggest Remedies For Cold In A 2 Month Old Infant
Question: My 2 month has a cold and we went to our local pediatrician on Monday 2/8 when he first started showing symptoms of a cold. His temperature is at 99.3. Can I give him infant Tylenol? Is 99.3 considered a temperature? His symptoms are getting worse should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Any fever of more than 100 need to be addressed at this age
Detailed Answer:
Hi.... as your kid is less than 3 months of age The Fever of hundred or above needs to be addressed. But more importantly the activity of the kid is very very essential component. If the kid is otherwise active feeding well and urinating well you need not worry. Temperature of 99 if not to be treated as fever. You can give infant tylenol only if fever is above hundred or 101. At the same time if the Infant is not feeding well are dull and lethargic he needs medical attention immediately.
