Suggest Remedies For Heavy Menstrual Flow

Question: Hello,
I was wondering what one would do if they had very heavy periods, and heavy vaginal discharge at ovulation. Also, I have had frequent ENT problems. I believe these are all hormone related. Is this possible? And if so, what does one do..

Before answering your question i would need some more information regarding to your concern.
Firstly, what do you mean by heavy period? How often does your menstrual cycle comes and long does it last?Do you gave bleeding out of the menstrual cycle?

Secondly, when is your last gynecological visit, ultrasound, pap test?

I have a very heavy flow for the first three days, a lot heavier than when I was younger. I have had a pap and also a endometrial biopsy all negative. I also had an ultrasound a week ago that all came out normal, except a small 1cm fibroid.

Regarding to hormonal disbalance i would recommend to check;

-FSH, LH,Estradiol and progresteron level.

And please if you have any other diagnosed diseases or symptoms, do not hesitate to report.
An over active thyroid for example could be the cause.
