Brief Answer:
Seems viral gastroenteritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query at HealthcareMagic.

It seems that your husband is suffering from viral gastroenteritis. It is recommended to take ORS in clean drinking water after every loose motion as driven by thirst. This will help with rehydration in body and also in recovery. Antibiotics are not effective in virals.

Most viral gastroenteritis get better in 5-10 days.
So please wait for a few days and if he does not get better than get checked for typhoid and start taking antibiotics under doctor supervision.

Hope it helps.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
