Brief Answer:
Most probably a pinched nerve and muscle spasm at the back.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have noted your clinical details. Based on your symptoms, we need to exclude a pinched nerve at the back, along with muscle spasm.

This can be confirmed by doing an MRI scan of the spine.

I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Brief Answer:
X-ray shows only the bones.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

X-ray shows only the back bones and not the nerves. So, MRI is better.

Apo-naproxen seems to be a pain-killer, which can provide short term relief from pain.
