Question: I have a red eye and my doctor gave me montelukast and Zyrtec to take what else can I do to get rid of this red eye cold water or warm water on my eye?

You have been given anti allergy treatment and i am presuming that Zytrec is being taken orally and only once a day.This looks like a proper treatment and cold compresses will be helpful.
You ca3use Visine eye drops 3 times a day to take care of redness.Cases who do not respond well to this treatment, we tend to use steroid dropsunder observationfor short pdroid.
You will respond well to a addition of Visine,do get back to. me in case of any further query in this regard
