Suggest Remedies For Severe Depression, Anxiety And OCD

Question: Hello, I'm a 35 year old male. I've been a very happy and effective person my entire life. Suddenly in December of last year i came down with severe depression and anxiety that was caused by intense ruminating thoughts. I've since been diagnosed with OCD with depression and anxiety as secondary diagnosis. I've been in therapy for the last 9 months, have been on a number of meds and have done extensive amounts of neuro-feedback to try and remedy this. Nothing has worked and I'm wondering if there is anything else i need to look into medically? Should i get a brain scan? I'm very discouraged and my once wonderful life seems very hopless. Thank you for the response, it started suddenly on December 12th 2015. My girl friend told me something about her past that bothered me and since then my thoughts have been dominated by thoughts of her past before me. I literally spirled into an abyss. Its the most ridiculous thing i know, but the thoughts are so powerful they literally debilitate me even though it wasnt that bad. And the thoughts can be about anything i make up. Constant rumination. I have done the neuro-feedback. I was also on 100 mg of welbutrin and 50 mg of lexapro for 6 months. My psych put me on 100mg of luvox instead of the lexapro but only took that for about a week before quitting everything. This whole time ive been doing regular therapy every week and I just competed a week long intensive therapy session...so 9 months worth. I have not done the CBT, I'm trying to work on some thought stopping techniques but its to very little avail. They drew blood for my thyroid but i have not heard back on that yet, will hopefully get that tomorrow. No bleeding, super severe headaches, double vision or unconsciousness. Current symptoms are sudden thoughts, followed by anxiety, not necessarily panic, but anxiety enough to make the bottoms of my feet and my palms sweat constantly. Ive been sweating for 9 months now. There is a constant pulse in my head and I'm exhausted and depressed all the time and have no interest in anything i use to care about. Im a very active and passionate person normally and all that seems to have gone. Thanks again for your response.

Thank you again for your response, so i started on 50 mg of fluvoxamine(luvox) today. My psych wants me to work my way up to 200 mg by the end of the week and stay there for the next two weeks until i see him next. I also have a script for clonazepam .5 mg for short term anxiety which i dont use often cause i dont want it to make me tired and i'm afraid of addiction, but might try it more sporadically. I think my psychs plan is to bump me to 300 mg in 2 weeks if im doing ok on the 200 mg. i would like your thoughts on if you think this is a good mix. Also, my psych said it csn take up to 8-12 weeks for the fluvoxamine to take effect on the OCD. Do you think I should see results sooner? My life and relationship would really like to hope so. I was on Lexapro 50 mg and 100 mg welbutrin for 6 months and saw no results, was that cause i was on such low doses? Thanks so much.
