Suggest Remedies For Severe Pain In Hips And Knees Post An Injury
Question: I was in a car accident in November and since then my hips and knees hurt and give out constantly even if I'm not moving.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
After you had the accident, did you showed or consulted an orthopedic surgeon?
The giving away feeling might be because of the lax or injured ligaments or tendons in the respective joints.
As it is already 4 - 5 months since the injury icr application and other things won't be of much help. Taking analgesics like ibuprofen might help to reduce the pain; but the reason should be found out with investigations.
MRI of the joint may pick up any injury to the ligaments of the joint but before that a detailed clinical examination will be required.
Hence I feel that you should consult an orthopedic surgeon and after the examination if required investigations can be done.
