Suggest Remedies For Severe Stomach Pain
Question: RECENTLY I WAKE UP AROUND 1: 00am WITH A VERY PAINFUL PAIN IN MY STOMACH, WHICH IS BEST CONTROLLED BY EATING A FATTY CHEESE , DRINKING MILK. AFTER ABUT 30 TO 45 MINUTES I CAN GET BACK TO SLEEP. AGAIN WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS TO THIS TREATMENT?? YYYY@YYYY

The medications you took can cause gastritis, duodenitis, and acid related issues.
Since you have taken 220 mg of caplet 4 to 7 every 24 hours which is actually taken 2-3 times in a 24 hours duration. Aleve is the same medication and you have taken long enough, may be without the protection of taking PPI and Antacids.
I would advise you the following in such a situation that you have noted:
First of all to consult an Orthopedic Surgeon or a Neurosurgeon to have proper clinical evaluation , examination and MRI of the lower spine to know the exact cause of sciatica, its extent to decide it needs surgery or medication and physiotherapy.
Stop any medication like Aleve at the moemnt till further studies are conducted for the pain in abdomen like:
Upper GI Endoscopy.
To start taking a PPI like Omeprazole, Antacid and take care by way of soft bland diet, 8 hours quiet sleep, no tobacco or alcohol in an form.
Once the evaluation is done, to take proper medication as advised by the Gastroenterologist.
