Suggest Remedies For Tenderness In Muscles While Recovering From Cellulitis
Question: hi i had cellulitis i had antibiotics but my foot still spotty and tender and my leg muscle tender and painful
Brief Answer:
Test required
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.
This was bit to short antibiotic course if you'd ask me. I suggest to have blood tests, check your leukocytes and inflammatory markers and if there is still elevated leukocytes count, you should have repeated antibiotic course with Clindamycin 3X600mg (please discuss this with your doctor if s/he shares the same thought with me and provide the necessary prescription).
As I can see from the photo, there is slight redness and oedema, but it's not something concerning at this point. You should keep the leg elevated, apply cold compresses and take Ibuprofen (400mg twice daily after food for next 2-3 days).
Feel free to ask further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
