Question: my wife has a tentative diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia. she can't see a neurologist until may 31. to deal with the pain, can she safely take 50 mg of tramadol plus 400 mg of ibuprofen at the same time?

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

For trigeminal neuralgia drugs like Carbamazepine, Pregabalin, Gabapentin or Amitryptiline will be more effective than pain killers.

Tramadol and Ibugesic can be taken but not for long.
