Suggest Remedy For Back Pain Post Shingles Recovery

Question: Thanks First I got my arm red and hot and because I had Shingles
18 months ago I have acyclver and the red and the heat disapear
in 15 minutes,I m constantly with over heated back,what is good
for it ,until I can see the DR?

HI and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this over heated area. I will like to review an image of this area. Because you have had shingles before, this could be possible another episode. I will like to know if this is just on one side of the back as shingles will never cross the midline of the body.

For now, I recommend ice packs and Tylenol for pain relief. If this fails to relief the pains, then we may need to use more powerful pain medications and maybe aciclovir as early treatment helps hasten healing and prevent post attacks pains.

I DO NOT FEEL PAIN,I FEEL HEAT IN MY BACK AND ARMS
MORE OFTEN IN MY BACK......TYLENOL IS NOT USE ANY
MORE ,ADVIL HAS 60% BETTER RESULS.THE ONLY USEFUL
INFORMATION ARE THE COLD PACKS......I HOPE I DO NO GET
SHINGLES AGAIN........T.Y
