Suggest Remedy For Discolouration Under Eyes

Question: Hi,
I just notice a blueish area in the skin of my right eye socket, about half an inch below the eye. No trauma that i can think of. Do have new prescription for glasses which are quite different from my old but that seems an unlikely source.

Brief Answer:
hemorrhage
Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
This ismost likely to be bleeding under the skin. There is no mention in your medical history of medication being taken by you. Drugs like aspirin can cause this type of bleeding without injury. You have righly noticed this being unrelated to glasses.
This will resolve in about 2 weeks time.If large Thrombophobe ointment helps in early resolution and usually no treatment is needed.
Inform me if tbere is positive drug history and please do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.
